      Thanks David, next time I will try the calculated method (cheaper but more involved) and see how it works out. I will have to dust off my trigonometry ;)

        Also remember that little cutters take a LOT of speed to work properly. You’ll have to run the lathe at the maximum rpm. I did some facing and minor pocket cutting, but the work envelope is only about 1 1/2″ square so I got a TAIG cnc mill and I’m learning that now too.
