Bushings…What’s the difference and where do you use what?

When it comes to bushings there are a few types.  The main ones seem to be Bergeon and KVM.  This may be a stupid question but, what’s the difference and where would you use one type over the other?

So it’s been over 2 years since these legitimate questions were asked. Does this mean there is not an answer? I would like to know as well before investing in tooling for one or the other…

Probably didn’t get an answer because this particular forum is to post resources rather than to ask questions.

Would probably use the general forum to ask. Anyway I searched the forum just now and came up with a bunch of discussion about bushing. I’ll post a couple below. You can also do a search by doing the following.

Here’s a quick way to search past discussions since I think Bob is working on upgrading the search function this month. I’m pasting it from his post.

“If you open a new tab on your browser and type the following into the search you’ll pull up any topic you want. You can also query any contributing members posts using this process.  Here it is:      site:learntimeonline.com “Type your desired Keyword between these quotation marks” and then hit enter. You’ll be shown all links covering the topic you requested. IMPORTANT: Make sure to add a SPACE between site:LearnTimeOnline.com and the Quotation mark!

Example:   site:learntimeonline.com “Seth Thomas”   then hit enter. 

Also, if you leave that tab open you can always jump to it and just insert a new Key Word between the quotes and hit Enter again. No need to keep typing the site:learntimeonline.com each time.”
