My father has a juvenia swiss watch that his father got over in switzerland during ww2. My dad cracked the crystal on it and I have been trying to find a replacement. I work at a jewelry store and we sent it to the watchmaker that we deal with and he said that the crystal was no longer available. Ive checked ebay and cant find anything so I was wondering if anyone knows of anyone who might have replacement crystals or better yet if anyone on here knows of any websites, or video, or tutorial on how to cut your own watch crystal? Any information would be great, thanks

        Hi Chaplin37,
If it’s a plastic crystal that was available in the past then I would keep checking with different suppliers like http://www.crystalfit.com to see if someone has something in stock. If it was a production run crystal then I’m pretty sure you can locate one. If you need some help with identifying what type of crystal you need then you may find the G-S crystal site helpful at http://www.gssupplies.com/plastic_watch.html

Here’s a tutorial for working with glass crystals if you have an interest:

        Hope this is helpful Chaplin37,
        Bob
