      All:

      I was perusing eBay and came across this tool – I have no idea what it’s used for but its called a “Boley vintage clamp machine…” (yea – I know – it clamps things).

      Whatever it is, it sure looks beefy. This might be something that David wants to add to his museum. ;)

        Tom,
        That sure looks like a spring winder to me. Several months ago I purchased a bowmill for next to nothing because the seller did not know what it was and mislabeled it.

          David’s correct.
          “Federwinder” is spring-winder in Deutsch.
          The rest is loosely translated as ,” Drill holder device, pointers -vehicles, in a hardwood-Case “.
          Not sure I would hazard to guess all of the uses .
          BTW ,..my German sucks these day,..never learned enough from mom…..
