In Bob’s video lessons, he uses an electric Wen Wet-Stone Sharpener to quickly sharpen his lathe gravers. I had been thinking about getting one for a while and finally pulled the trigger. Unfortunately, the water pump doesn’t work. I guess this is a common problem with these. The seller described it as being “as new” but obviously hadn’t tested the pump out.
My question is: Does anyone else use this Model 2900 sharpener for gravers? If so, and the pump doesn’t work, what do you use to keep it wet? I remember that the pump worked on Bob’s in the video, and was what attracted to the item. Any help is appreciated. Cheers all.
