I am in need of a roller jewel for a Waltham watch. Is there a good source on the internet to get those?

Hey Sisu1223, I have purchased roller jewel assortments from ebay in the past and have not had to search for a particular style. I am sure someone on here can help out better than I am able.. I think Bob knows of some good places to look for those but he is out with family emergency stuff and it may be difficult for him to respond right away…..Have a great day, William

          Welcome to the forum Sisu1223
As William said above he as well as many others working on pocket watches have built an inventory of parts over time. Because most of these parts are no longer being made it’s always good to keep an eye out up on ebay and other websites for assortments coming up for sale. Roller jewels are often sold in assortments and can also sometimes be found in assorted gross mixes that can be picked through for a size that fits. Tom Misters site at http://Dashto.com as well as Uncle Larrys in Canada occasionally offer these assortments. Dashto may also have jewels specific to a make and model at times. Another good site to check out is http://www.daveswatchparts.com . Here’s a link to a page that has many links to suppliers on it at http://watchrepairinfo.com/pwparts.htm
I think I have some good links bookmarked on my other laptop and will check later. If so I’ll post them up here.
          Hope this helps,
          Bob

If you have a roller jewel gauge you can then find out what size jewel you need. Stick the gauge into the pallet fork where the roller jewel goes, find one of the guages that fits and then subtract 0.2 from it and that will be the size jewel you will need.
