I’ve been working on a Vienna KIENZLE WALL CLOCK MOVEMENT. It was very dirty. After disassembly, inspection of all gears and pivots, cleaning and polishing pivots, I’ve reassembled and have problems keeping it running. At first the time side worked just fine, but the chime side did not. I again disassembled and wonder if it would be worth changing the bushings. I did that on the first clock I rebuilt and it’s been working great. Any thoughts?
Thanks, Larry
