Because of the problem I have with my hands ( gout in both) I struggle to hold some things, I restore torsion clocks and I have trouble holding the hands to remove them, I have tried the usual things see pictures 5 & 6 but not very impressed with them but to be fair one is for watch hands, anyway I see an antique one on eBay so I put a bid on but needless to say I was out bid but after seeing that one I thought I could make something similar and it works a treat, I threaded my one but it looks to me that the one on eBay is just push operation.
