        Thanks Tom!

Just picked one up for myself all the way over here in probably the farthest place from the U.K.!

I appreciate the tip – I’ve seen some of their stuff on YouTube, and it just amazes me!

        Best,

        Tim :)

Hey guys…I just got my edition.
It’s in PAL !!! which won’t play in the USA…( hey ..that rhymed !!)

Anyhow..not sure what happened ,..but I wrote back to them just now to see if that’s the only way it was produced, or if they messed up and sent me the wrong format.

Thought you’d like to know…I’ll let you know what the outcome is as soon as I hear back from them

              Randy,

Most models of DVD players have a crack that allows you to unlock their multi region function. If you use your model, brand, serial number and do a search for a crack, you’ll probably find one, UNLESS, you’re like me and buy the only model in the world that doesn’t have one 😆
Come on back to me on this big fella :D

So I searched the forums for region hack codes for both my Panasonic and Toshiba.
                  No codes for either one.
I have a note back to the producer…I have to think that other overseas customers are going to also run into this.
I would also think that they would have produced in more than the one format…we’ll find out soon.

                    Randy:

I still haven’t gotten mine yet. I have run a PAL format on my Panasonic Blue Ray player. It does play fine, but it sounds like you’re in an echo chamber.

I’ll let you know… IF I ever get the thing.

                    Later,
                    Tom

Bummer Randy, same as mine… It’s a pain sending stuff back to the seller..

                          All:

I just got my DVD in and it won’t play in my BlueRay player either. They are working to get some DVD’s in the US format. However, I was able to just play mine on my laptop with no problems.

                          Just FYI…
                          Tom

                            Thanks Tom.
I also just got a reply from Christy.
For everyone’s knowledge, here’s what she wrote to me.
I would think that if you let your concerns be know,..they will accommodate us.

                            “Hi Randy!
Apologies, I had missed your last email. We have decided to look at producing a small number of NTSC copies for those having difficulties – I’ve just had this message through from my colleague Dave:

“Although it states on the web sites that the DVD is a PAL product, there are players in the US that will play PAL DVDs. We have ensured that the DVD is also region free, so that multi format players will play the disc regardless of region. This was only designed to be a limited PAL release in advance of an eventual worldwide distribution.

However, we are working towards producing a replacement NTSC disc in the next few days to help those of you without a multiformat playerand we will get back as soon as we can with a timescale for shipping of an NTSC disc.””
