      I want to purchase some collets for my Peerless 8MM lathe.It came with 25 but only 11 fit, and one looks “sprung” as if I would really know what that looks like.In one of the threads some one mentioned a good source for the Starret collets but I can’t seem to find the name.Jim seems to come to mind but thats all.I was told to purchase 3-20 and then a 50 for the jewling chuck.Thanks ahead of time.

        You might want to give these people a call to see what they have. I do know that many dealers are closing out their Starret inventory. Apparently, Starret is having problems manufacturing and delivering orders. I suspect they may be having financial problems as well.

          I did talk to the guy at clockbug,he seemed nice and knowledgeable.Thanks for the thumbs up on the source much appreciated and thanks.
