Seth Thomas ships Bell hammer tail

Hi guys, first ships bell movement for me, I am not sure if this is a worn hammer tail or not, it almost looks like it is supposed to be this way 🙄 but if I were looking at some other movement I would think it is worn. so before I make a new one I would like your input. thank you all, have a great day. Well……… I took the old one out. used a rod of pinion wire, softened it and smashed the tip to resemble the original. filed it flat and square put a 45 degree bevel on the drop side, tested in the movement, riveted to the arbor, hardened as bob shows in his video, polished..looks like it will work and I now think that my question was a little dense 😳 but, oh well, need to live and learn ……Thanks guys for letting me use up your time.
