A good friend inherited this clock from his mother. The clock is made in Germany and had NWC (says Maple on dial).  At some point the movement quit and a shop talked her into installing an electric movement .  Older quartz with a D-cell battery.  My friend would like to restore the clock to it’s former glory.  I have a Hermle movement however, it is too large (greater distance between keyways etc. ) I am enclosing photos with the measurements (which are probably not exact) Any ideas on what movement would work in this clock would be appreciated.20250512_11472520250512_11482720250512_114930

I suspect your best bet is a Hermle movement. Get the most precise measurements you can for the distances between the winding arbors and the minute arbor.  Then email them to Mark Butterworth at Butterworth Clocks.  It’s a shot in the dark, but it’s the best shot I know of.
