      To anyone that might know, i’m having a hard time finding a mainspring for a ‘New Columbus’ 8s pocket watch.

      Any ideas? is it possible to use a mainspring that is not made for Columbus pocket watch?
      I guess at some point they shut down and became part of South bend brand, can i use theirs?

        Hello Amit,
        You can use any mainspring that has the same end style such as t-end, hole end or other and matching length width and strength which is the thickness.
        I have several mainspring assortments so I rarely need to order a spring but when I do need one I have had success with Cousins here in the UK. If you are located in the U.S. Ofrei has had mainsprings that I needed in the past.
