Pocket watch case openers…

Since I have a bad tendency of scarring nice hunting cases trying to open the backs with the old metal knife type of opener, I started looking around for something a little more idiot resistant (there’s no such thing as idiot proof – at least in my case anyway). After a little seaching, I found a plastic tool used to open cell phone cases. It works really well and doesn’t scratch the case.

I’m not recommending any particular type as there are dozens out there.

Howdy, good idea, I think this too is a case of you get what you pay for, I had a cheap made case opener knife and was not happy, someone told me I should buy the Bergeon case knife, I got my hands on one a boy does it make a difference, a few extra bucks I am very happy with this tool, it is spendy and looks almost the same as the cheaper style but it has a completely different feel to it.
