Hi all,
I received a clock with a wooden movement as a gift. It looks to be in pretty good shape but it’s missing the pendulum bob. The clock was made by Chauncey Boardman and Joseph A. Wells.
Does anyone have any ideas on what type of bob it may need? The only thing I could find that might be right was on time savers: http://timesavers.com/i-9994954-3-1-16-woodworks-bob.html
Thanks,

That Bob looks about right to me, if you should have any old loop end pendulums then just try one before ordering this one. There will be differences in weight and size etc so it might be a little bit of trial and error.
Good luck and please let us know what you find.
Paul.January 16, 2014 at 7:27 pm #55065I ended up placing an order a few days ago for a bob that was a little smaller and lighter than the one I posted. I talked to the person I got the clock from and he thought that the bob he used to have was similar to one on another clock he has which was smaller and lighter. I’ll post an update when I get it and try it out.
