thanks in advance

November 20, 2018 at 8:16 am #64972Hi John,
I remembered an earlier post from member Chaplin37 looking for the same 600 series info that you’ve requested.
Dug up the post but not sure it’s going to be of much help. Worth a look though (I’ll post link below). I’ve never been able to locate an oiling chart for that movement and would also like to have one as Omega watches produced during that era is of interest to me.
Here’s the link: https://www.clockrepairtips.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1893
If you do run across a pdf chart for the 611 (or any 600s) please post it up here John.
Thanks,

I will certainly post here as soon/if I can find one.

JohnNovember 21, 2018 at 1:39 am #64974Hi Bob
I found this site which covers a variety of movements. Certainly a number of 600 series but unfortunately no oiling guides and not as detailed as I would have hoped for. However, getting there. It’s a start!

I can’t find one specifically for the 611…but DR Ranfft’s webpage lists the following as movements in the same family.
My guess is that you might get lucky and find a lubrication chart for one of them that could be applied to all the movements.
Maybe start with the 600 ??manual wind:
600: Reed’s regulator
601: excenter regulator
602: excenter regulator, chronometer
610: Reed’s regulator, date
611: excenter regulator, date
613: excenter regulator, quickset dateHope this helps somehow !

December 25, 2018 at 2:16 pm #64977OK…I think I found something really close ???
Go here 1st
https://www.cousinsuk.com/document/search/0?SearchString=omega+611+lubricationIn that PDF…you’ll find a note that says to see working instruction 44
At the bottom of that page, you’ll see this :
Omega Working Instruction 40: Rules for Lubrication (1334KB)Download it, as it shows a ton of lubrication specs in detail
That said …I’m still trying to find “44”
The AWCI also has an older file..if you are a member.
It may show more info
