        Thanks for that link :)
The one thing I would say is that all of the books on that disc are free to download from the internet as they are all historical and out of copyright. If you type in any of those titles into google etc you will find a link to download it.
        An example – https://archive.org/details/modernclockstudy00good

I don’t suppose anyone know where to get a cheaper copy of “The Top 300 Trade Secrets of a Master Clockmaker by J.M. Huckabee” that Bob mentions in his lathe videos?
Amazon is selling a second hand copy for £170.48. That’s pounds sterling, not dollars.
It might be a great book, but this price is way out of my range…..

                AbeBooks has one for $99.98.
It says it’s a new one from 1994.

Thanks for the info. It’s still a bit expensive for me plus it is an additional $28 to ship to the UK.
Buying tools has priority at the moment. I guess I’ll just wait until my finances are better and I have less tools to buy.

Will the moment of having less tools to buy ever come? I know I am still waiting for it 🙄

Could this book be checked out at a public library or the BHS in your part of the world? Sometimes used book stores have this sort of thing.

I finally got hold of a copy of “The Top 300 Trade Serects of a Master Clockmaker by J.M. Huckabee”
eBay number 231171408704 . Cost £25.76 including postage to UK. Not bad compared to the £175 from Amazon.
