      Hi. I am 6 months in to watch making and a two old watchmakers lathe have turn up at my local auction house in box but no motors.Could some help me with what power or type of motors would suit a new person just getting started with using a watchmakers lathe.

      Any advice wold be much appreciated.

        Sewing machine motor is ideal and not very expensive.
