I have a Hermle movement that is from a mantle clock with NWM chime.
The escapement is mounted on the outside of the back plate.
it has the FHS engraved on the back plate over a dial and Germany below but no ident numbers.
Anyone know how to figure out which movement this might be?

      Any help is appreciated.

        Morning Stephen
A pic of the movement would be helpful. I have only encountered one older hermle with the FHS stamp and it was a floating balance movement. IF I could see it I might be able to do a comparison to other models to get you a part number.
        Thanks Mike

Photos would be helpful, but I’m not sure how to post them to this forum. I believe you need to click on the IMG button.

Not sure. I have never uploaded a photo.

The IMG button brings up a required url for the photo.
I could email the photos to someone. Or I could put them on my FB page.
The movement has been running on a test stand for four days now…

                Sorry, Guys!

Had a problem up on the server. Think we’re good now.

Please give it another try by using the insert image button above.

                Thanks for hanging in there!

Possibly the best person to ask about this movement is Mark Butterworth at Butterworth Clocks. [email protected]
