What an excellent thread! After joining the Ultra Course several days ago I’ve spent a good deal of time perusing past forum topics like this one. Such a wealth of information. My interests lie more with true restoration of antique clocks and watches covering traditional tools and technique rather than just the more modern tools and repairing practices. Many of the topics and posts in the forum, as well as much of the Ultra course, seem to cover many of those past traditions. This thread is a superb example of this. Very happy to be here!
