Good day all. I have a strange situation going on with a Kieninger K movement, 100cm. I have assembled the clock, and using a 100cm pendulum the clock is gaining time.. half an hour in 24 hours. The adjustment on the pendulum is set so that the Bob is as low as it can go. According to various sources I have read that adding weight to the Bob can slow the pendulum down, or do nothing at all according to others. I have increased the length of the pendulum by about 6 inches, and have gotten the beats per minute to 60.1, I don’t know if to increase the length more, or if I have done something wrong. Any advice would be appreciated.
