Good Morning folks (PST). hope you are all advancing in your work and your horological studies. What type of marker can I use to mark parts before I put them into a cleaning solution, such that the marks will survive the cleaning and drying process? thanks for any help. Take care…stay well…………..b
That depends on your cleaning solution, I have had some luck with “Sharpie” permanent markers, just enough remains after going through my ammoniated clock cleaning solution and it doesnt take much to get it off completely when I have finished.
