Infinite Time

I had a colleague here for the weekend, he usually brings me watches from home, so I figure I owed him a treat for being my pack mule 😆

I took him to a place called Merida, which is built on the former site of a Roman city called Emerita Augusta, Obviously named after the emperor.
They have the most Roman artifacts in the world on display at a great museum built on the site, in fact the catacombs & burial chamber is in the basement and can be explored..

I noticed this statue from the 1st century which is of Chronos – The god of infinite time..
What a fitting piece for a forum about….. time 😆

I wonder if our watches will still be around in 2,014 yrs 😯
