        You’re welcome Steve…hope I’m right !!
I also did some web searching and found a 340 that looks just like yours, at least from the bottom. The bridges and layout appear to be the same as in your photos
Bernie and Jan are right..these can be tough to identify.
Merry Christmas to you as well…

Ok, been on a search for parts and further identification of this movement.. Based on the images of the parts, I bought 3 boxes of parts for ASchild movement on eBay UK,

Spent 2 hrs cleaning the main plate today, getting the dung and what ever else is caked on the movement. the only other marking I found on the main plate is a J under the balance cock. any other ideas Randy or gerene?

Ok, I am loosing it.. thought I posted this last night.. sry been dealing with a terrible migraine, for the last few days…

I picked up a Swartchild’s Swiss Materials Catalog N0. 355, and on pg 75 there is a 10 1/2 ligne AS Caliber 340-341 Series 94, the setting spring matches the one I have. Then on Pg 12, they list a AS Caliber 340 94J, so now I need to find out what the J indicates is different from the rest. Sorry I get obsessive over details sometime.

                Steve.
I think that the “J” stand for jump hour.
There’s a thread in the NAWCC where someone is looking for hands for his AS 340 jump hour watch.

I don’t think that’s the one for your application.

                Hope you’re feeling better

                Randy
