I guess there are many ways to put oil in clocks. I have a little tube with a steel hypodermic-type thing on it, so it does a good job of applying a controlled amount of oil. What’s up with the little glass cups I see? Maybe that’s mostly watch guys. What do you guys use?

        Hi Doug,
Those oil cups are usually used with spade oilers for watches but I often oil clocks with them. The syringe type is common too. For watches capillary and spade oilers are common as are other types that can regulate the amount of oil that can be dispersed. All kinds of fancy stuff out there now!

        Have Fun!
