Hello Fellow Members,
I recently acquired a pocket watch movement that has Rockford printed on the dial and Plymouth Watch Co, USA
on the movement. This movement (serial #662325) also has Prince of Whales printed on one of the bridges.
The movement also appears to have gold jewel settings and gold gears.
I cannot find any information on The Plymouth Watch Co. in the Price Guide to Watches by Richard Gilbert,
Tom Engle and Cooksey Shugart. I would appreciate receiving any input/information on The Plymouth
Watch Co.Thank You

Plymouth Watch Co. is a name that Sears & Roebuck used. Illinois and Rockford made watches for Sears under this name. Rockford made a Model 4 Special and number 5 Special for Sears with the Plymouth Watch Co. name. Not sure about the ‘Prince of Whales’ though. Maybe someone up here has some info on it.Enjoy,

That should read “Prince of Wales”. Just a small point but might help.
