Lately I’ve had several pocket watches given to me with twisted or broken hairsprings.  Usually, I replace with a new one, but some are hard to find (like Swiss made Waltham 16s springs).  I’ve seen the video of using tweezers to manipulate the spring back into form but several springs I have are far beyond that process.  Is there a tool available to help with this repair?  I’ve also had several springs break off the collet and thought about trying to reattach.  I have no experience with this so if somebody has something that work’s I’d really be interested.  Thanks, Larry
