Does anyone know where I can buy hairspring collets? I have an elgin 12s 7j grade 303 that needs a new one. I cant find a hairspring for this and I don’t want to buy a donor movement if I can find a collet or even a new hairspring for this watch.

I’ve never made one before but it doesn’t look too difficult as long as you have a lathe and some brass rod stock. The most difficult part for me would be drilling the pin hole.
Anyway… Let us know if you find a better supplier. I wouldn’t mind buying a few packs myself.
