Gravers for staff removal work

From everything I’m reading, carbide gravers seem to be preferred by many, for cutting out old staffs.
Can anyone tell me what type, size they have the best success with ?
I’m figuring that it’s a lozenge shape, and maybe around 1.8 mm across the flats.
Do you have a source you prefer as well ?

I haven’t used the elliptcal shape, but here’s what I normally use – (square 0.125″ and 0.1875″).
