Because I have gout in my hands I struggle to hold a graver especially to sharpen them, and I use a graver often as a lot of the torsion clocks I service and repair have damaged screws, I try to repair them if possible to keep originality but sometimes it’s not possible, so I had seen a graver sharpener made by Levin so I decided to make one based loosely upon the Levin, I have finished making it but still need to sand it a bit to remove some of the tool marks prior to nickel plating.
