Several years back, I resigned no-notice as a board member where I served as a director. I understand some of the dynamics as to why you might want to do just that…however, it WAS a different kind of situation in some ways. I know I had some very intense personal things going on at the time, and needed the space to work through them in their own good time. So, I understand, brother, from a certain perspective.
And that is where similarities probably end, and I don’t know what’s going on in your world, either. I won’t pretend to know any of it. But I do know this: You’ve brought your special “brand” to the annals of this hallowed place, and I have been very, very fortunate to have been a part of your tenure here, and I must also second, third, fourth, maybe even fifth the motion to have you reconsider and stay on. If you are unable to do that, then perhaps you can at least stay here amongst us, because Paul, you must know just how valuable your information, friendship, and mentorship is, and how much it means to people like me. It’s basically boundless.
So, I do hope you reconsider within the construct of your own ideals, values, and current needs. We all love you like a brother, Paul, and we don’t want to lose you. Not ever. I hope we don’t.

thank you for the kind words and don’t worry, I am staying put on the forum but no longer as a moderator. I had no choice to be honest, I woke up one morning with a horses head in my bed and a note saying “From Bob”. With his Italian connections I thought it best to stay on the forum as I didn’t like the idea of trying to swim in a deep river wearing concrete boots
