I’m working on a Garrard circa 1930 mantel clock.
It is a strike only clock, so no chimes to worry about.
The movement functions well and the pendulum is in beat, however the hands don’t move. If I tighten the centre nut the movement stops but if I loosen the nut the hands don’t move but the movement functions.
Any advice please for an amateur enthusiast?
