Fox & Simpson movement W0341 Stops same time

Hi I have a clock with mechanical 4/4 chime, which winds up but stops always ay 16:15, you can then move the hands forward and it will carry on at 17:00.
Any idea what I have done to it to make it stop at the same time regardless

Hey loupee, great question. There could be several things to look at. Is it ONLY at 16:15 (4:15) or does it happen at other hours also? Do the hands move freely after it had stopped? I am afraid in order to answer your question we would need a bit more information, a photo or 2 would also be very helpful. William

Hi Willofiam,

the movement stops at 4:20 and if i manually push the pendulum anywhere between 4:20 and 4:50 the pendulum judders a little bit then slows to a stop. After 4:50 it keeps on ticking for another 12 hours. Very strange.
