Thanks my watch/clock repairing brethren :D

Thanks also Bob for donating the R due to a missed key hit 🙄

I’ve finally, after many butterfly brain distractions, finished the hard part of this lovely convertible, I’m obviously referring to hand cleaning EVERY SINGLE PART 😆 Which takes me days of pure enjoyment.. Anyway, my springs arrived so I was able to complete the assembly after installing its new little engine..

This is the result which I also love, the glamor shoot. Forget Swiss watches, they’re nothing compared to the stunning beauty of early American timekeepers, in fact the Swiss copied the American design because their models were boring old brass..yawn 😆

I travel not with treasured photographic memories of family and friends, nor pics of my pets, nor vacation photos, oh no, you won’t find any of that stuff littering up the memory on my phone.. no sir, I have watch movements and iron crosses to gaze upon 😆

What follows is my attempt to capture the beauty of a fine piece of work, an American industrial piece of art, a shameless photo shoot if you will… Beginning with the usual b4 shot of the rather sad casualty..

Not sure why but these watches remind me of a stagecoach 🙄 This one is, after all, 124 yrs old.. Just a little bit older than Paul, wherever the lad is.. :?:
