I have a wall clock with a broken winding wheel shaft, any prospects on where to find another or should I make a valid attempt to weld/braze? Broke it during takedown. “Warning”, hard hands make a harder job for any watchmaker. thanks for the reply’s in advance.

That looks like a fairly modern movement, you might be lucky and be able to source a new arbor, if not try looking on e-bay for a donor movement. I wouldn’t advise trying to repair that, more of a safety issue than anything. If you have access to a lathe you could make one?
Oh, and we have all broken stuff when we started, anyone who says they haven’t is telling porky pies :)

Thanks Paul. I never thought about e-bay. Surly will look into. Oh and next time I’ll take a different approach and with a lighter hand and a more gentler thought pattern. :)
