Hi Guys
Can anyone give me the directions for cutting and fastening the lathe belts together? I bought a lathe and the seller gave me a new piece of belt. I have not done this before so any help would be great.

If its a poly belt all you need to do is heat the ends up until they start to melt and stick them together, then trim up the joint with a pair of side cutters. Make sure you loop the belt through the head stock before joining the ends.
