D & A wall clock chimes late

I am working on a D & A wall clock. It is chiming 2 minutes late although the time is correct. Is there a way to adjust it?

Does the hour hand have a brass bushing in it? If so use a square awl or the tang end of a file to hold the bushing and slip the hand backward on the bushing the appropriate distance to point at the 12 when the clock strikes.

I agree with Henry. You can adjust the hand to bring it to the correct chime. A picture would help know for sure.
