      Hi guys
      I need some help. I have this clock test stand which I bought at an auction but, I am having a hard time understanding how to use it. Could anyone give me some pointers or feed back please? I have included pictures. The middle horizontal piece of wood with the rectangular cut out is NOT attached. It is a separate piece. I am not sure how it plays a part in the stand as a whole etc.

        Hey Mark, interesting you posted this today because when I first seen your post I had just sat down from making my new test stand 😆 I think your slotted piece is to lay flat on top of the stand, the slot would be for the chains to drop thru as the movement sits on top of it. At least thats how I designed mine. hope that helps, William

          Nice looking stand. I have built 4 almost identical to yours. They work great.
