      Hello everybody

I am working on an old pocket watch with cylinder escapement.
I have no clue about how the center arbor is assembled or how to disassemble it correctly. I can’t take the bridge out because the back pivot ends with a sort of plug or something like an unslotted screw…
The watch is runnung, but the hands don’t move because this arbor has no dragging pressure enough. How to adjust this?
I’ll appreciate directions from anyone experienced on this subject.

Look for some textbooks that explain the entire setup and possibly repair.
None of my older books really mention anything about them, outside the escapement itself

I see this one, but can’t guarantee it will give you what you want….

Best of luck..let us know how it goes !
