Hi,,I have a New Haven Kitchen clock, that needed the cannon pinion clutch spring tightened…I had to pull off
the small double sided “cam” that actuates the lift levers etc…..I have tightened up the spring and the minute hand
has the tension I believe it should,,,BUT,,,I need to know what the orientation is for the cam to be put back in place,,,
in relation to the minute hand ” flats” if it matters, or not?? The strike must start at the Hour or half hour, so do I place
it in the same plane as the flat on the minute arbor?? I never did check it when I took it off…..hum!!!!!! Help!!!
