There are a number of pocket watches that bear the stamp “ADJUSTED” and it seems that the title is pretty much a mystery.
I made a search, a continuing one, for some sort of solid answer to this mystery, and to date, like, just 15 mins ago.. My search revealed the usual vague guesses and assumptions, made in an educated, experienced fashion mind you ;)
I’ve even perused countless watch company ads and catalogs in search of more info.

So, a simple *Adjusted* stamp on early models can mean some or all of the following..

      1. Adjusted to 3-5 positions
      2. Adjusted to temp..
      3. Adjusted to isochronism

The general consensus is that Adjusted is #1 & 2 but that #3 is also a given when paired with #2

      Confused? Me too 😆

Then there are the *Special Adjusted* models, which also imply #1-3 but may elevate #1’s category into the 6 position status of dial down positional check..

      Oh my achin’ head :|

Yes Chris this always confuses me but I do know when they advertise watches for sale they are much higher in price if they say adjusted (if it be #1, #2, or #3). lol
