The diameter of the movement you want to fit is pretty critical but also the thickness needs to be checked, no amount of hitting it with a rubber mallet will make a movement that is too thick fit in a slim case 
Until you have the display case or movement(unless you can get its dimensions before you buy it) it is a little difficult to know what will and wont fit.
