I put this formula together today but do not have the time to test it out. Rearrange it for the unknown you are looking for, plug in some numbers, and let us know how it comes out.
MR= motor rpm : MP= motor pulley diameter : CPL= countershaft pulley diameter to the lathe : CPM= countershaft pulley diameter to the motor : LP= lathe pulley diameter : LR= lathe rpm

MR x MP x CPL = CPM x LP x LR Example: If you want the lathe pulley size the formula would read LP= (MR x MP x CPL)/(CPM x LR)
