I tried looking for a video on how to change a PW hinge but was unsuccessful. Could anybody tell me if these little wire hinges are universal? I would love to have a little guidance on how to change out this hinge and how to order one.

Any kind of brass wire would work as long as it is the same diameter. If you cant find one the same diameter, get one close enough and buy a draw plate to pull the wire through so it gets to the right size. You push the new wire through and file down the ends and that should work.
