      I have finished (I think) carving the minute hand for my cuckoo clock. It doesn’t match the pattern I used perfectly but I think it looks good for my first attempt. Also, I will be wanting to dye it to add age. I’ve read that you can use tea, coffee, or balsamic vinegar. Going to try on an uncarved piece of bone.

      William, if you think it is a success I will put together photos and info for the Clockmaker’s forum.
