      All:

I’m looking for a small boring head to use with my mini drill mill; however, the smallest I can find is the 2″ size. This is usable, but only at slower speeds. Does anyone know of a boring head of smaller size?

      Thanks,
      Tom

        Sorry, Tom, I do not : /

But I wanted you to know that I was thinking REALLY hard to try and give you an answer :)

Good luck with your answer…I’m sure one will be forthcoming!

        Best,

        Tim :)

          Hey Tom,
Pretty sure Criterion has a micro boring head smaller than that.
Also might check out Kaiser and Bori. They carry micro heads but could be pricey though…not sure.
Sherline also carries one for their mill but can’t remember the size. I’ve seen the Sherline miniature boring head being sold in other places too.
There are also some good plans out there for making small boring heads if you want to tackle that route.

Looks like we were up here posting at the same time Tim! :)
            Tom,
Also Levin. They have a miniature boring head. Mine is very similar to Levin. When I return home in a few days (up North again) I can post a pic of it up here for you if that would help.

              Just got home today.
Don’t know if this will help but here you go.
