      I just picked up an early 50’s Girard Perregaux.

      The base caliber is ETA 1256

      Getting ready for an overhaul..but I can’t find the alloy of the mainspring barrel anywhere ?

      Wondering if any of you have serviced one of these, and can tell me which braking grease is best.
