Hi Everyone!
Well the forum is finally back up and running at it’s new location here at LearnTimeOnline!
The Forum and Courses are finally hosted in one location and can now be accessed after logging into your course. Much more convenient.
The downtime or dead period was due to a forum structure collapse resulting from major file corruption during a forum upgrade at ClockRepairTips.com. At that point we decided that this would be the perfect time to migrate the forum over two LearnTimeOnline.com. The migration was a difficult process as many files wouldn’t migrate automatically from the phpBB version into the forum version we’re using now. We then began a long, tedious process of manually bringing them into the database here at LearnTimeOnline.
It was a hassle but now that it’s finished we know that the convenience for all of us members will make it well worth the effort!
Well, almost finished as there are still a few annoying glitches we’re actively working on like the search function not working correctly and some errors that sometimes pop up when submitting a post or new topic. It may then require several attempts until the post finally goes through but for the most pare the forum is usable at this point. We hope to have those issues fixed soon.
So please enjoy the new forum in its new location here at LearnTimeOnline!
