Great Mahlon. Glad to see you came up with a great idea. Glad you figured out the bit. I know when I first started I ordered a cutting bit and went to town. I was ready to chuck the whole lathe it made me so mad. A old machinist came over and first thing he said was, ” boy ya gotta sharpen this thing.” 😆 So the first thing I do before I ever start is sharpen my bits.
