Here’s an update on my A2Z Quick Change Tool Post. I ordered the Levin threaded shaft with T-bolt that I mentioned in the earlier post. This acutally worked and should allow me to use the tool post until I get a mill drill and can do a proper job by making my own. The piece was a few dollars higher than the package of T-bolts but I didn’t have to modify it. The only potential problem that I see is that the bolt is significantly smaller in inside diameter of the bolt bushing that comes with the tool rest, so I’ll need to tighten it down good to keep it from slopping around under stress. (Of course, right now I’m just turning brass, so…)
